[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Britney Spears[/lastfm] has once again upset her neighbors, this time with the tacky Christmas lights all over her house and yard… Apparently the person who dresses her on a daily basis is also decorating her yard!

It actually doesn’t seem that bad until you take a closer look… everything is just kind of tossed around trees and in branches, there’s no organization or consistency whatsoever… neighbors say it looks insanely TACKY and is an eyesore! I bet she and Jason and daddy Spears rigged that up themselves… why wouldn’t she hire some professionals and at least make it look good… oh wait, it’s Britney we’re talking about

Sometimes it’s fun just to get out there with the kids and put up your own decorations – helps get into the spirit of things. Tacky or not – everyone celebrates and decorates in their own way.

Geez! What in the world is wrong with Britney for putting up lights. It’s all in fun and her children probably love it just like all children do. If they got to help it will be a special childhood memory for them.

You are right Carol, what fun would it be to have professionals come in and decorate? I say do it yourself and the heck with the neighbors.

I don’t think it is so bad. Where is it written that professionals must be hired? Perhaps the kids helped and they did it as a family. I am glad to see she put lights up when fewer and fewer people are not. I love Christmas lights!! TACKY? oh PLEASE, tacky is insisting on professionals to do everything for you.

I’m no fan of Britney Spears, but it seems like she has more of a Christmas spirit than people who hire professionals to do their decorating. Christmas is a time for families to do holiday things together…like cooking, shopping, wrapping presents and yes… decorating the house. Who cares if it doesn’t look like a TV ad when it’s finished. The family can look at it and smile and say, “Hey…WE DID THIS TOGETHER … and it was FUN!”

i think no matter what they look good. just because she has had issues in the past doesnt mean we need to pick on her 24-7.. i say go with how you feel when decorating. dnt let anyone tell you how it should be done.
