“Great songwriters don’t come around that often,” states Willie Nelson. “Amos is an exceptional artist, a true story teller, unique to his generation.” Lucinda Williams was similarly impressed: “Amos Lee knows how to use his voice to tell a story with a hint of mystery as he does so beautifully in the compelling ‘Clear Blue Eyes.’”

Don’t miss your chance to see [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Amos Lee[/lastfm] at Ruth Eckerd Hall on May 20th.

Many have stated that Mission Bell, his most recent album, is the album that marks him as a mature artist that is ready to explore a more thematic approach to songwriting. Like the great legends that spoke of him, he is coming into his own and taking more time than he was able to on his last two albums to really explore himself as an artist.

He was named one of Rolling Stone’s, “Top Ten Artists to Watch.” These lists have been proven over and over again to be a great launching pad for future greats of our musical generation and Amos Lee is no exception.

Make sure you catch him alongside opener, Sonia Leigh at REH, May 20th at 8pm!

Check out his video for “Arms of a Woman”
