A close sourec to them says, “It was mutual, but Brody really broke up with her.” Apparently, Brody started the conversation concerning Lavigne’s upcoming tour in Asia and he told her that he was always tired of being her plus one and always having to go on tour with her. He expressed to her that he needed a career of his own again and just didn’t want to be on tour with her anymore, and of course, Avril didn’t like what he was saying. Avril is the type of girl to love her man being by her side, but sources say she also lost respect for him because he hadn’t done anything since the show, The Hills. But, those matching tattoos has them bonded forever…those close to them say they do love each other and could get back together but Brody just needed a break to get his stuff together again and do something.
